When I first plugged into "Brutis" the second thing I noticed , behind its great tones was that it did not seemed "dressed"
like it was voiced.I am hearing these brutal AC/DC raw type tones coming out of an amp dressed in a brown dinner jacket.A
quick call to Dave Lancaster and I am convinced that she looks like she sounds.................

I have been given the opportunity by Dave Lancaster to demo one of his amps.He sent me a "Brutis" 15 watter voiced VERY
similar to a Marshall JTM45 but with his own circuit design.My first impression is that this is one killer amp. It is not
a gain monster, instead it has this fine articulate tone that will take you up to AC/DC tones without any OD device.Add OD
and this thing screams. I will be posting clips in the coming days and will offer these fine amps on my site soon.Build quality
is excellent and you talk about all tube signal path? How bout 3 knobs, a couple of toggles(will explain these functions later)
and pure tube tone.
I takes a lot to excite me, and what I have seen/heard so far is very good news for ALL of use tone freaks................John

PLEASE remember when listening to these clips is that they are for tone examples ONLY,my degree of skill and recording
resources are primitive to say the least.I can NEVER do this amp justice for what you hear "in the room" with a great player..........John
The Lancasters cover a lot of tonal ground.I have a special bond with the Brutis with its marshall simularities BUT the
Essix is another tone monster and suprised me how much gain was on tap, I pretty much had fender cleans in mind but the 6V6's
get pretty damn nasty when pushed...............John

The Brutis and Essix amps are available 3 different ways:
1) A fully functioning chassis on a wood plate with 4 small feet for studio, at home practice, or DIY cabinet project.
2) Complete Amp Head: Fitted in high quality wood box with premium tolex and hardware.
3) Complete 1 x 12 Combo: Portable yet powerful and built to stand rigorous use. Your choice of Jensen P12 or Celestion
G12H 25 watt.
Brutis 15:
Produces 20 watts at clipping.
15 watt push-pull all tube guitar amp.
Class A operation, cathode bias never needs adjustment.
Tube Compliment: 5AR4 (GZ34) rectifier, 2 12ax7 (ECC83) preamp/phase inverter, 2 EL84 (6BZ5) output tubes.
Low noise circuit. Excellent for intimate session or recording. 150 ma power supply for cooler operation and a more harmonically
correct tone. Conventional Marshall tone stack yields vintage Marshall tone with added mid boost feature. Industrial/Military
grade components for extra high reliability. Dimes the JTM45 vintage vibe but cleans up nicely for an AC30 tone.
Essix 15:
Produces 15 watts at clipping
15 watt push-pull all tube guitar amp.

Dimes the '59 Tweed Bassman. Huge presentation with a warm, buttery tube tone. Very smooth and open with a nice
throatiness which when cranked yields pleasant harmonic characteristics. The unique tone stack with "tone shift switch"
yields
great versatility with simplicity of controls. Industrial/Military grade components for high reliability.
